Marge Carson Welcomes The Interior Design Trade In New Showroom In La Cienega Design Quarter
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. – Marge Carson, Inc., a high-end home furnishings manufacturer, opened a showroom to serve interior designers and their clients in the prestigious La Cienega Design Quarter (LCDQ-LA).
The freestanding, 3,600-square-foot, to-the-trade showroom opened September 8, 2008 and celebrated the launch with a grand opening cocktail party hosted by Marge Carson and Architectural Digest magazine.
"We have created an eclectic oasis that represents the breadth of our products, along with our design philosophy in the legendary La Cienega Design Quarter," says Will Sharp, President of Marge Carson Inc. "For more than 50 years, it has been the high-end shopping destination for interior designers in this area."
The Marge Carson showroom, located at 920 N. La Cienega Blvd., is nestled amidst an enchanting array of high-profile design showrooms, boutiques and many of Los Angeles’ most fashionable restaurants. The new showroom features fully furnished vignettes, which showcase the company’s luxurious upholstery, bedroom, dining room and occasional furniture. A fabric room, dedicated to Marge Carson’s full range of fabrics, leathers and trims, and a display of more than 50 custom finishes, encourages personalization.
"We envision design professionals using our new showroom as an inspiration for creativity, as well as a resource for specific projects," says Will Sharp. "We have created a space that is a full expression of the Marge Carson brand."
The new showroom with be managed by interior designer Katie LaBarge. Sarah Lefton will serve as her assistant.
Showroom hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on the weekends by appointment only.
